The company A1, d. d. was founded in 1996 as a legal successor of Avtohiša Ljubljana, a company with more than 40 years tradition, with the purpose to unite the synergy of knowledge, capabilities and experiences from the field of automobiles business and to direct them in order to spread their automobiles program. Its successful growth and development, which were the results of a clearly traced out vision and continual investments in the development of its technical personnel, have gradually directed its investments also in other fields of operating and also on the foreign market. Today, the company A1, d. d. makes investments in numerous successful companies in Slovenia, Croatia and in Serbia. They officiate mostly in the fields such as real estate and automobiles business.

The main areas of activity of the parent company A1, d. d. are investments and the development of new programs, disinvestment and assuring the solvency and liquidity of companies of A1 Group.
